"FF08 Series" FPC Connector Has Been Developed

Recently, the multi-functionality of mobile phones has advanced with the inclusion of high definition cameras, one-segment TV, GPS functions, etc., and also by the expansion of devices such as smartphones which incorporate a computer like function.
In addition, there is a demand for these devices to be slimmer. So for the connectors used in those devices, slimmer and more space-saving products are required.
To meet this need JAE has developed the "FF08 Series" FPC connector with the industry's narrowest contact pitch, 0.2mm, and lowest height, 1.0mm max. By achieving this slimming the mounting space for the connector has been minimized, which will contribute to more design freedom for customers.

• Narrow pitch, space saving FPC connector with 0.2mm pitch, 1.0mm height, and 2.85mm depth.
• Full length actuator* structure prevents loosening and deformation during mating. It also creates a clear tactile click.
• ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) structure for easy FPC insertion.
• Guide for FPC sides prevents mis-alignment by temporarily holding the FPC in place until actuator locks.
• Applicable FPC thickness: 0.15mm ± 0.02mm.
• Bottom surface connection type.
• Board pattern traces are possible under connector (excluding terminal area).
• Pb-free, halogen-free compliant product.
• Ni barrier prevents solder wicking.
